I am an experienced Oil and Gas consulting professional with 15+ years of diverse career achievements in water management, operations planning, state and federal regulatory environments, and management of environmental projects.

In that time I have been involved in projects working in the major unconventional oil and gas shale plays in the United States including; Antrim, Bakken, Barnett, Caney/Woodford, Eagle Ford, Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus, Niobrara, Permian, and the Utica.

Additionally I have been a key project contributor on international unconventional oil and gas projects in: Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, and Poland.

    Planning coordinator for New Ventures Division. Integrating multi-disciplinary team to develop strategic plan for the exploration of oil and natural gas in an unconventional resource play.

    • Developing regulatory program in a new play area addressing programs at the local, state, and federal level.

    • Working with completions engineers to develop water sourcing strategies for exploration and development level programs. Water sourcing strategy utilizing a variety of sources including; surface water, coal mine water, industrial waste water, municipal waste water, and reuse of flowback and produced water.

    • Assist production engineers with environmental projects that include: permitting of water management impoundments, closure of drilling and completion pits, and environmental due diligence.

    Over the 12+ years as an environmental and Oil/Gas consultant, my work experience varied as the needs of oil and gas clients changed over this time.

    As a key contributor to ALL Consulting from my early days as a staff geologist to developing into a senior geologist with project management responsibilities, I was able to contribute to an assortment of projects related to unconventional resource development and environmental issues.

    Project highlights include:
    • Managing and developing water management programs for international corporations including; assessment of water treatment technologies, groundwater and surface water monitoring programs, waste water disposal options, operational practice summaries, and regulatory compliance documentation.


    • Key contributing author to the development of the DOE/GWPC sponsored Primer: " Modern Shale Gas Development in the United States: A Primer" as well as co-authoring various papers related to hydraulic fracturing, water management and best management practices for the oil and gas industry.


    • Managing environmental response investigations and preparing expert witness reports related to surface spills, claims of groundwater and surface water contamination, and stray gas migration claims.


    • Performing environmental impact assessments, and developing assessments for oil and gas operators of the impacts of new regulation on their development activities on state and federally-managed lands.
